Every project lives in one region, Tel Aviv or Amsterdam, chosen when you create it. Your code, your builds, your data and their backups stay there. This page says exactly what that covers and what it does not.

If the region is full, Shipyard adds capacity in that same region or waits for it. It never places a copy in the other region to make room.

The control plane runs in il-tlv, Tel Aviv, for projects in both regions. That includes projects in nl-ams. It holds the records that let you sign in and manage your projects:

If your rules say that none of this may leave the EU, an nl-ams project alone does not meet them today. Write to us before you sign up and we will tell you what we can do.

Backupsגיבויים
Backups are kept in the project region only. No backup copy goes to the other region.

A region cannot changeאי אפשר להחליף אזור
The region is fixed when the project is created. A request to change it is refused with region_immutable. To move, create a project in the other region and migrate to it, so that moving data across a border is always a decision someone made.

}A database you run yourself and connect to Shipyard is listed with the country you told us it is in. We show it so nothing is hidden, but its location is yours to keep, not ours.

If you connect your own AWS, Google Cloud or other account, the region is the one you picked at that provider. That provider runs the hardware, so this page describes what Shipyard does there, not what the provider does.
