You pay a monthly fee that includes the same amount of usage, and then for the CPU and memory your containers actually used, by the minute. Nothing is estimated and nothing is rounded up. This page says exactly how the figure on your usage page is arrived at, because a bill you cannot check by hand is a bill you have to trust.

What is measuredמה נמדד

Two things, per running copy of your application, read from the container's own kernel counters once a minute.

A month is 43,200 minutes, so the per-minute price is the monthly price divided by that and nothing else. A sleeping environment has no containers running and therefore uses nothing. Every retained copy counts, because every retained copy is holding memory.

• Every minute, each copy is sampled. The first time a container is seen, that reading is a baseline and bills nothing: we charge the difference between two readings, never a counter total. • Just after each hour, the minutes are rolled up into one row per hour per metric. Usage inside what the fee includes costs nothing more. Usage beyond it is added at the same per-minute prices above. Included usage does not carry over to the next month. A Team organisation that used €31.40 pays €20 plus €11.40.

A trial organisation has no fee and €5 of credit, once. The credit is worked out from everything ever charged rather than kept as a running balance, so it cannot drift. When it is gone the environments sleep until a plan is chosen, and nothing is deleted.

A database the platform runs for you is a separate product, not another metered dimension, and the reason is worth stating: it is a whole machine, and it is running whether anything is talking to it or not. So it has a monthly price and it is charged for the hours it exists.

An organisation can set two figures per month: one to be told at, and one to be stopped at. Both are optional and either can be cleared. An owner or an admin sets them on the usage page, with shipyard billing limits, or through the API.

An API key can carry its own spend limit as well, so an agent working on one project cannot spend past what it was given. That limit is on the key, not on the organisation, and it is checked when the key asks for billable work.

The usage page shows the month to date per project and environment, hour by hour, with the rated bill, what is left of any credit, your limits, and any hour that is short of samples. The same figures come back from the API and the CLI.

For an agent, the MCP server exposes the same three as billing_show, get_usage and billing_set_limits. Setting a limit always requires an explicit confirmation, enforced in the server rather than requested in the tool description, and the refusal says in euros what the figure would stop.

Prices and usage are in EUR. VAT is added by your billing country, and EU business customers with a valid VAT number are handled under the reverse charge.
